As a group, we are committed to a non-judgmental experience. We all look through a lens that honors what makes us human. We are relational beings, hard-wired to connect. What makes us different is where we want to be especially open, curious and never presume that we are experts. We welcome all, including sexual orientation, age, race, disability, ethnicity/national origin, gender identity and religious/spiritual affiliation. Some of our counselors have specific training and experience working with the LGBTQ+ population. If you would like to be paired with one of these counselors, please let our care coordinator know.

Alyssa Presson, LMFT
I enjoy working with couples and individuals who are struggling with relationship distress or life transitions (having a first child, moving, becoming empty nesters, etc.). My ideal clients are people who know that true change doesn't always come from tools or homework and who are ready to explore the deeper inner-workings of parts of themselves and their relationships. In my work, I tend to attract dating couples pursuing marriage and individuals who are wanting to process their childhood experiences.
Here's the part where I want to tell you how much I love my job and EFT. I have the privilege of watching my clients get really clear about how they get and stay stuck - all while reconnecting with themselves and the people in their lives. I love this process because it gives space for you and from that comes genuine compassion for both yourself and the people that matter the most to you.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family therapist and have advanced training in EFT. I am in the final stages of pursuing EFT certification.
I am originally from northern Illinois, but came to Tennessee for my undergraduate degree and have been here since! When not in the office, I love attending Nashville SC games with my husband (COYBIG), working on puzzles, and searching for the best chocolate chip cookie Nashville has to offer.

Aubrey Ireland, MMFT
Aubrey received her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Aubrey truly believes that so many things about who we are and how we interact in the world are formed through our connections and experiences with others. She's passionate about learning and growing alongside couples and individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life as they work toward relational healing. Aubrey has a particular love for helping couples navigate major life transitions together - adjusting to an 'empty nest', grief and loss, illnesses, moves or job transitions, and the complicated web of emotions these transitions often bring. She is gentle, intentional, and above all dedicated to helping clients in their therapeutic journey.
Aubrey is fascinated by attachment science, brain development, and the influence our life experiences have on how we show up day to day. She's a lifelong learner, and she has a feel for the EFT model well beyond her years.
Aubrey is relatively new to the Nashville area, having been born and raised in Lexington, KY. When outside of the therapy room, she loves to read novels, go hiking, bake, and above all, dote on her (very spoiled) cat.
