As a group, we are committed to a non-judgmental experience. We all look through a lens that honors what makes us human. We are relational beings, hard-wired to connect. What makes us different is where we want to be especially open, curious and never presume that we are experts. We welcome all, including sexual orientation, age, race, disability, ethnicity/national origin, gender identity and religious/spiritual affiliation. Some of our counselors have specific training and experience working with the LGBTQ+ population. If you would like to be paired with one of these counselors, please let our care coordinator know.

Kelly's Testimonials

“I can’t say enough good things about the experience!”

”I would highly recommend the EFT Intensive with Kelly. As an EFT therapist myself, I worried that Kelly would not be able to get me out of my head and into my heart as a client. To the contrary, through both her expertise and her presence, she allowed me to fully be the client, and her the therapist, and kept me out of thinking mode and in the place of feeling. I can’t say enough good things about the experience!”

“I have never encountered a clinician who was more warm and wise than Kelly.”

“My wife and I have visited multiple marriage counselors over the years as we stumbled towards building a stronger relationship, often feeling stuck and discouraged. Through our intensive with Kelly alongside regular counseling, we have had more meaningful conversations that have cut to the heart of our issues more than ever before. The intensive itself felt like it instantly launched us into a better and more stable place after a long season of disconnection and discouragement. I am a trained EFT counselor who supervises other couples’ counselors, and I have never encountered a clinician who was more warm and wise than Kelly. She and her team at Red Therapy Group have an approach that integrates warmth and caring with a deeply insightful understanding of what blocks us from the connection we crave. My wife was worried that with me as a counselor, she might feel attacked, but she now refers to Kelly as her counselor. We both see her as our counselor because we feel she cares about us individually and about our relationship. My wife and I feel more hopeful and more connected, we talk more, and we fight less. After years of wandering through the wilderness, we feel like we are finally finding each other again. Whether you have never even picked up a book or listened to a podcast to help make your relationship better, or you are a seasoned marriage counselor struggling to connect in your own relationship, I highly recommend seeking out Kelly and Red Therapy Group to walk alongside you in building a better relationship. I am so thankful that we did.”

“If you are at the point of considering whether a marriage “intensive” is for you, you should do it.”

“If you are at the point of considering whether a marriage "intensive" is for you, you should do it. I was not sure what to expect going into this, but it was truly a turning point in our relationship. It opened both of our eyes to things we could never before see or realize that were affecting the relationship. I couldn't be more glad that we did this, and would recommend both the "intensive" and Kelly Bourque to anyone.”

Cindy's Testimonials

“Cindy has made a lasting difference in our life together.”

“I'm so thankful for everything Cindy helped us work through during our recent intensive. Cindy's presence, guidance, and care have made such a meaningful impact on our relationship and the way we communicate with one another. I truly appreciate how deeply she listened and how intentional and thoughtful her approach was in every session. Cindy's techniques were not only effective but felt incredibly compassionate and attuned to both of us - I can’t tell you how much that meant. We walked away with tools, insights, and a sense of connection that we haven’t felt in a long time. I honestly can’t thank Cindy enough for holding space for us during some very vulnerable moments. Cindy has made a lasting difference in our life together.”

“Our intensive with Cindy exceeded our expectations in every way.”

“Our intensive with Cindy exceeded our expectations in every way. We believed it would be a positive experience overall but found ourselves marveling at Cindy's keen insights. Somehow, she could hear the words we'd said many times and discussed endlessly, yet she was able to reach into the deeper part of what was really at play. It was incredible. We are grateful for Cindy and the opportunity to work with her.”

Anna's Testimonials

"Anna is a truly gifted therapist."

Our time with Anna during the 3-day Couples Intensive was monumentally helpful in allowing us to understand where we are getting hung up in communicating with one another and laid the groundwork for a deeper level of intimacy and trust. We made more progress in those 3 days than we would in months of weekly sessions, which was invaluable for jumpstarting our progress and getting us to a better place quickly. Anna is a truly gifted therapist, whose empathy, intuition, and sense of calm made it possible for us to be open and honest about some of the more difficult challenges we have faced in our marriage. We have since continued with follow up sessions and thanks to Anna, are moving forward with a renewed sense of hope and connection in our relationship.

"Anna provided us with a life changing experience."

Anna provided us with a life changing experience. We did an intensive weekend with her that created an open, thorough, positive way for my wife and I to communicate our issues and help resolve them. She is an excellent listener and who was able to see our pain and help resolve it. We look forward to another weekend with her.

“Anna has been nothing short of incredible to work with.”

“Anna has been nothing short of incredible to work with. She has led our sessions with a rare combination of competence and persistence, as well as patience and understanding. Her intuitive approach has allowed us to work through complexities at our own pace, yet she is highly skilled at reigning us in to keep things on track. We started seeing Anna with a 3-day intensive, and would highly recommend the same to anyone interested in building momentum toward reconnection and healing through the process of EFT. Anna is so special to us and we are so appreciative of her work with us!”

“…if I could, I would pay for Anna’s services many times over.”

“We found Anna through a recommendation from my trusted personal therapist. Couples therapy in general was not something I had enjoyed in the past, but I had never heard of emotion-focused therapy and was willing to try. I am SO glad I gave it another chance. The entire experience has far exceeded my expectations. The intensive was more connective than I ever could have imagined despite dipping into some of our toughest conversations. It felt as if we were able to skip ahead in our therapy goals. Anna is incredibly skilled at getting to the core of our patterns while making us both feel heard. She easily established trust and safety in the room to be able to navigate conversations that were previously off limits to us. We attribute our current level of trust and communication directly to the time and attention she has poured into us. She has helped us resolve issues that I thought were here to stay. I could not put a price on having peace and understanding within my marriage, but if I could I would pay for her services many times over. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to take the leap! Anna has been an integral part of our healing and someone we will be forever be grateful for.”

“The intensive weekend was exactly what we needed…”

"We had gotten in a pattern of 'standard operating procedure' in our marriage which was not terrible but also not particularly fulfilling or joyful. We had also struggled with weekly or biweekly marital counseling due to two very busy working schedules, and we realized we needed a "jumpstart" to get a new level in our marriage. The intensive weekend was exactly what we needed - no children, no everyday responsibilities - and it provided a pause in time to reconnect and move forward. I really cannot imagine another way we could have gotten to this newer, better level in our marriage if not for an intensive weekend. Anna was a fantastic facilitator - empathetic, intelligent and confident. We run at a fairly high emotional speed which has put off therapists in the past, but Anna met the challenge and guided us through reconnecting. She was warm and kind, which allowed us to bring down barriers more easily. EFT was really fantastic - for the first time in counseling, we treated the cause versus the symptoms, and it made all the difference in the world."

Alyssa Presson, LMFT

EFT has completely changed how I understand and interact with people in my personal life and with clients. It has taught me that everyone does what they do for good reasons, usually tied to their need for connection. My hope is to help you see what those reasons are, because we all have ways of protecting ourselves from hurt, pain, or anxiety that - once slowed down - make perfect sense. Together, we'll gently look at where these strategies come from, how others might misunderstand them, and how understanding them better can help you have healthier relationships with the people that matter most to you - yourself included. This is a big part of why I love EFT: it gives space for you. From that comes genuine compassion both for yourself and the people in your life.

My ideal clients are those who understand that real change isn't just about quick fixes and homework; they're ready to dig deep into themselves and their relationships. I often work with recently married or engaged couples, individuals/couples navigating big life changes, and individuals who want to explore the impact of their childhood experiences.

When not in the office, you can find me reading a good mystery book, attending (and probably yelling at) a Nashville SC game with my husband, or searching for the best chocolate chip cookie this city has to offer.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family therapist in TN and a Certified EFCT therapist available for regular hourly sessions and 3-Day Couples Intensives.

Alyssa is very skilled in her work and brings great professionalism and intention to her work. Frank's Testimonials

“Frank is amazing at what he does, and the EFT therapy approach is the only type of therapy I would recommend.”

“Me and my husband recently went through the 3-day Intensive with Frank Bunner. We wanted to do the intensive so we could make our relationship stronger, reconnect as a couple and get help breaking the repeat cycle we go through when we argue. What we got was that and so much more! Frank is amazing at what he does, and the EFT therapy approach is the only type of therapy I would recommend. The information we learned about each other on day one alone was enough to make me a firm believer of EFT and made me happy that we decided to do the 3-day Intensive. We debated doing weekly or monthly sessions, but with our work load and our kids, we knew we needed something like the intensive where we could truly spend time focusing on our relationship without letting our day-to-day busy lives get in the way. Those 3 days of just focusing on us was the best decision we could have made and I 100% recommend Frank, Red Therapy Group, and the Intensive to every couple.”

Growing up with a multicultural and bilingual upbringing, I’ve experienced firsthand how our cultures, personal histories, and the challenges we face influence how we navigate relationships and the world. The way we relate to others is often deeply shaped by where we come from and the wounds we've carried, and it’s this complexity that fuels my passion for working with people on their journey of healing and self-discovery.

My approach is centered on honoring all parts of you, exploring the layers of identity, emotion, and experience that make you who you are. I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive space where couples and individuals can experience real growth, move past stuck places, and find deeper connection and healing.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing challenges such as relational distress, disconnection, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, women’s issues, and supporting marginalized communities. I am especially passionate about helping people build secure, trusting relationships—both with others and with themselves.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have advanced Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) training and am in the process of certification. My training in EFT informs much of my therapeutic work. I also bring experience in Systems Theory and Play Therapy, allowing me to approach each client’s unique situation with a comprehensive, multifaceted perspective.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy in traveling, interior design, cooking for my friends and family, and watching a really good based-on-a-true-story movie with my husband.

EFT is a love of mine (and has been since before I even began seeing clients) and I truly believe in its power as a tool for healing and growth. I’m especially drawn to working with couples and individuals looking for ways to navigate difficult seasons of life (pregnancy + pregnancy loss, parenthood, job transitions, empty nests, relationship struggles, etc).

I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University, and am pursuing EFT Certification. I also hold a bachelor's degree in education, which I think has given me the tools needed to gently lead clients through the difficult process of change.

Outside of the therapy room (and if I’m being honest, sometimes inside it too), my favorite thing to do is to share a moment of laughter. I also love reading, movie watching, hiking, and baking treats for my husband, friends, and family.

“My therapist is amazing. She hears me and I think really sees me and understands me. Grayson Hannah, Graduate Student Intern

Grayson is a Graduate Student Intern at Red Therapy Group currently pursuing his Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. He’s passionate about working with couples and individuals, and is especially drawn to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as a powerful framework for healing and connection.

Grayson’s path into therapy began in high school, when his younger brother was adopted and diagnosed with an attachment disorder. He witnessed the transformation therapy brought to his family, and it changed the way he saw relationships forever. With his mother (a therapist herself) as a guide, Grayson felt at home in this work from the beginning. In graduate school, attachment theory and EFT immediately resonated. He believes deeply in creating spaces where people can feel safe enough to reconnect with themselves and with each other.

Clients often describe Grayson as light-hearted, grounded, and empathetic. He brings a calm, warm presence to the therapy room and hopes that clients feel both safe and at peace when they sit with him.

Before grad school, Grayson earned his undergraduate degree in graphic design from Middle Tennessee State University. He lived in Hawaii for a year, where he worked on boats as a snorkel guide and parasail crew member- a season that deepened his love for the ocean, adventure, and connection with others. When not in session, he enjoys being outdoors, especially in or near water. He’s married with a newborn son, and he’s most at home when surrounded by people he loves.

I’ve experienced the transformative power of therapy myself. This has left me with a deep belief in every person’s capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Clients describe me as warm, hopeful and in charge (in a good way). I’m especially drawn to working with those navigating deep grief after a loss.

As a bilingual therapist (Spanish and English), I bring a culturally informed lens to my work, shaped by my upbringing in Latin America and my life in Nashville since 2006.

Outside the therapy room, I’m happiest spending time with my husband and our two teens. As a family, we love cooking and sharing great meals, reading by the fire, traveling abroad, watching movies, and diving into long, strategy-filled board games. Most recently, we’ve welcomed a Cavapoo puppy, Coda, who’s quickly become an expert at training us to treat her like royalty.

I am thrilled to be a Graduate Student Intern with Red Therapy Group, supervised by Anna Lockhart, LPC-MHSP. I am currently enrolled in Lipscomb's Marriage and Family Therapy Masters program.
