Planning a wedding can be a full time job. Often premarital counseling gets pushed to the end of the wedding-planning checklist. It’s not as fun as picking out your venue, caterer and the band for your reception. We get it!
Let us make it a bit easier for you. We can knock it out in two days!
We’ve consolidated the steps and stages of EFT couples counseling into two days just for you.
This is not your typical premarital counseling. We are all professional relationship experts and have dedicated our careers to this model of therapy. EFT has been given the APA gold standard of research showing to have evidenced-based efficacy for couples counseling.
You can choose any of our locations - whatever is most convenient for you. Many couples take two days off of work and rest easy knowing their relationship will get the attention it deserves.
There is some flexibility, but this is the typical schedule for a Premarital 2-Day Intensive:
Day 1:
Session 1 (2 hours) - Relationship history and individual history - both partners in session.
Lunch break
Session 2 (90 minutes) - Identify and help navigate potential negative interactive pattern or “demon dialogues.”
Break
Session 3 (90 minutes) - Finding raw spots that drive your potential negative interactive pattern.
Day 2:
Session 4 (1 hour) - Revisiting a rocky moment (putting everything you’ve learned to practice).
Break
Session 5 (1 hour) - Reaching with vulnerability or forgiving injuries (based on what the couple needs).
Lunch break
Session 6 (1 hour) - Bonding through sex and touch.
Short break
Session 7 (30 minutes) - We will consolidate the day’s work for a relationship that’s ready to get married!
We won’t be going down the list of hot topics or giving you speeches about how to communicate.
This Premarital Intensive is tailored to your relationship. We will use the map of Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Hold Me Tight curriculum to meet you where you are.
INVESTMENT: Between $2,060 and $2,400 for the Two-Day Intensive.

**Depending on the state, a certain number of premarital counseling hours gives you a discount or waives the fee for your marriage license. Tennessee requires 4 hours of premarital counseling. For Tennessee residents, we will have your notarized certificate for you by the end of our day together.
**This intensive is not recommended for premarital couples in distress or crisis.
